Analysis on the Teaching Material:
The content of the lesson is transitions, through the learning of which, I’ll enable students to know more about transitions and their usages in the passage. Also, this lesson is to practice students’ writing skills. We should enable students to use proper transitions in their own articles.
Analysis on learners:
Students have certain basic English knowledge about transitions and they have learned many transitions before. But they are not content with the limited knowledge obtained from the textbooks. They are eager to learn something knowledgeable and interesting. So in this lesson, I introduce some famous books to students and design some interesting activities to activate them to participate and learn transitions actively and help them keep up their passion, develop the feeling of success and build up self-confidence.
