Food and the Story Behind
In China, when people think of Dragon Boat Festival, a special food will come to their mind, that is zongzi. About 2300 years ago, a great poet(诗人) named Qu Yuan jumped into the river to show his love for his country. The local(当地的) people loved him very much. They fed the fish with rice in bamboo tube(竹筒) so that the fish did not eat his body. To remember this great man, people celebrate the fifth day of the fifth lunar(农历的) month by having dragon boat games and eating zongzi.
